India are ahead of South Africa, winning eight of the 13 matches played between the two teams in T20Is.
India will begin their 2019-20 home season the three-match T20I series against South Africa starting September 15 at Dharamsala and it would come as a surprise for many that South Africa are only team yet to lose to India in India in the format.

South Africa played a two-match T20I series in 2015 claiming it 2-0, with one match being abandoned. That series remains India’s only encounter with South Africa in the format at home. And India will be seeking to correct the aberration this time around.
